The purpose of the Central Florida Hunter Jumper Association (CFHJA) is to foster the breeding, use and showing of hunters and jumpers. The Association endeavors to create a better understanding among breeders, owners and exhibitors of such horses. It encourages acceptance of uniform rules in regard to showing and cooperation with management of all shows in planning better hunter and jumper divisions.
The Germantown Charity Horse Show evolved in the way the most enduring events do: from a dream, a drive, and the dedication of its members. The dream began when a small group of friends, recently returned from active duty in W.W. II, decided that local interest in horses should be channeled into community-wide participation and an extension beyond county lines.
Franktown Meadows Equestrian Facility is a state-of-the-art equestrian facility that has been family owned and operated for three generations. It is located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range in historic Washoe Valley, conveniently between Reno and Carson City, Nevada. This 41 acre facility offers a variety of services for the horse and rider, with boarding and professional instruction in hunter/jumper/equitation and dressage.
The Classic, which began in the early 1960’s, originated from a yearly fundraising horse show that the Chagrin Valley Trails and Riding Club held at the Cleveland Metroparks Polo Field. Now organized by the Chagrin Valley PHA Horse Shows, Inc., the Cleveland Grand Prix is the highlight of the Classic.
The Menlo Charity Horse Show, a 501 (c) (3) organization, was honored with the designation as a USEF Heritage Competition in 2012. Started in 1970 as a one-day horse show, Menlo has a tradition of providing outstanding equine competition while raising much needed funds for numerous charities including Planned Parenthood, Amigos De Las Americas, and Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
The American Royal Association, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has been a Kansas City tradition since 1899, celebrates our region's rich agricultural heritage through competition, education and entertainment. As a not-for-profit community volunteer based organization, the American Royal raises funds to fulfill its vision and mission though endowments, contributions, sponsorships and event revenues.
The Ox Ridge Hunt Club has a long and rich history in the equestrian community. Facilities like indoor and outdoor rings as well as a premier grass field provide some of the finest equestrian riding opportunities in all of Fairfield County.
