Giants try to win their rematch with the Padres

On Friday night, left-hander Kyle Harrison and the San Francisco Giants face the host San Diego Padres to avenge his only career loss.

San Diego won its home opener 6-4 after staff aces Logan Webb and Yu Darvish battled for five innings on Thursday.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Padres scored four runs off the San Francisco bullpen.

The Padres took a 6-3 lead in the seventh on Jake Cronenworth's two-run double.

Harrison will start a day after Webb limited the Padres to two runs and five hits in six innings.

Harrison, 22, made his major league debut last August and started seven games for San Francisco.

 He was 1-1 with a 4.15 ERA and 35 strikeouts in 34 2/3 innings.

His only loss was a 6-1 loss at San Diego on Sept. 2 after allowing six runs on six hits in 5 2/3 innings.
